  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10ml) honey (optional, can substitute with agave syrup or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut seedless watermelon into cubes, about 4 cups (600g). Remove seeds if using seeded watermelon.
  2. Place watermelon cubes into a blender or food processor and blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Optional: Strain the blended watermelon through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth for pulp-free juice.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lime juice and 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10ml) honey until dissolved.
  5. Chill the juice in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice cubes.
  6. Taste and adjust by adding more lime juice or honey if desired.

Notes

Use ripe watermelon with deep red flesh for best flavor. Keep ingredients chilled for freshness. Straining is optional depending on texture preference. Adjust honey to taste based on watermelon sweetness. Serve chilled or over ice. Store leftover juice in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 days. Do not reheat; freeze for slushies instead.
