These juicy turkey sliders combine ground turkey with cranberry and barbecue sauce for a sweet and savory appetizer that stays moist and flavorful. Perfect for parties and game days, they are quick to make and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean or higher)
  • 1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12–15 small slider buns (Kaiser or Hawaiian sweet rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F-400°F) or prepare a skillet with oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce until well blended.
  3. Add the ground turkey, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the sauce mixture.
  4. Mix gently with hands or a spatula until just combined; do not overmix to avoid tough sliders.
  5. Divide the mixture into 12-15 equal portions and form into patties about 2 inches in diameter.
  6. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing.
  7. Optional: Refrigerate patties for 15-20 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  8. Cook patties on the grill or in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. Toast the slider buns cut-side down on the grill or in the skillet for the last minute of cooking.
  10. Assemble sliders by placing the cooked patty on the bottom bun and topping with the top bun.

Notes

Keep the meat cold to make it easier to handle. Do not overmix the meat to ensure tenderness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F without drying out. For leftovers, store patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze uncooked patties for up to 2 months.
