A quick and easy creamy smoothie that mimics the Starbucks Dragon Drink with tropical flavors of dragon fruit, pineapple, and coconut milk. Perfect for warm weather and a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit (pitaya), cubed (or frozen strawberries as substitute)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup canned full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons sweetener of choice (honey, agave, maple syrup, or simple syrup), adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: Β½ cup brewed green tea, cooled

Instructions

  1. Measure out 1 cup of frozen dragon fruit cubes and 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks. Chill or brew green tea and let it cool fully if using.
  2. Place the frozen fruits into the blender jar. Pour in 1 cup of canned coconut milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and your sweetener choice. Add Β½ cup of green tea if using. Add about 1 cup of ice cubes.
  3. Blend on low speed, then increase to high. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until creamy and smooth with no large fruit chunks. Add more coconut milk or green tea if too thick and blend again.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or ice as desired. Blend briefly again if you add anything.
  5. Pour into a glass immediately. Add a straw and enjoy for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Use full-fat canned coconut milk for best creaminess. Adjust sweetness last to avoid over-sweetening. If blender struggles, let frozen fruit soften for 5 minutes before blending. For a layered look, pour smoothie over green tea and ice.
