This easy football charcuterie board with pretzels and cheese is the ultimate game-day snack. It comes together in about 15 minutes with simple ingredients, perfect for grabbing between plays without missing a moment of the action.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (about 4 cups) soft pretzel bites
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup beer cheese dip
  • 4 ounces spreadable goat cheese
  • 4 sticks string cheese, pulled apart into strips
  • 6 ounces salami, sliced thin
  • 4 ounces pepperoni, sliced
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, torn into pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard
  • 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 1 cup grapes, red or green
  • 1 apple, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle spears or cornichons
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts, roasted and salted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread frozen soft pretzel bites on a baking sheet and warm for 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly warm. If using fresh bakery pretzel bites, warm for 2-3 minutes.
  2. If using store-bought beer cheese dip, transfer to a small oven-safe bowl and warm in the oven alongside the pretzels for the last 3 minutes. If using homemade, warm gently on the stovetop or microwave in 30-second bursts.
  3. Cut sharp cheddar into 1/2-inch cubes. Leave the rind on for visual interest or trim it off.
  4. Tear each string cheese stick into thin strips.
  5. Rip prosciutto slices into rough 2-inch pieces.
  6. Place beer cheese dip, honey mustard, spicy brown mustard, and goat cheese in small bowls. Position them around a large wooden cutting board or serving platter, leaving space for everything else.
  7. Cluster soft pretzel bites in one area, pile mini pretzels in another, and add pretzel sticks in a third spot.
  8. Fold salami slices into quarters and arrange in a small pile. Do the same with pepperoni. Place torn prosciutto pieces nearby.
  9. Scatter cheddar cubes around the board, tucking some near the pretzels and some near the meats. Place string cheese strips in a small stack.
  10. Fill any empty spaces with grapes, apple slices, pickles, and mixed nuts. Ensure no bare board is showing.
  11. Step back and check the board. Add extra pretzels or nuts if needed to make it look full and inviting.

Notes

Warm pretzels right before serving for best texture. Use room temperature cheese for better flavor. Keep dips in separate bowls to prevent sogginess. Prep all ingredients before assembling for efficiency. Serve with small plates and napkins.
