A quick and easy homemade version of the Starbucks Pink Drink that’s creamy, fruity, and refreshingly sweet, perfect for summer afternoons and poolside chill-outs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz) coconut milk (canned or carton, full-fat recommended)
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz) brewed and cooled strawberry acai tea
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup (about 5.3 oz) ice cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Strawberry Acai Tea: Steep one strawberry acai tea bag in 1 cup (8 fl oz) of boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool completely, ideally chill it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Place 1/4 cup of freeze-dried strawberries in your blender.
  3. Pour in 1 cup (8 fl oz) of coconut milk and the cooled strawberry acai tea.
  4. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  5. Add 1 cup (about 5.3 oz) of ice cubes.
  6. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy with no large chunks.
  7. Optional: Strain the smoothie through a fine mesh sieve for an ultra-smooth texture.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

Use freeze-dried strawberries for vibrant color and intense flavor without watering down the smoothie. Chill the tea before blending to prevent melting the ice too quickly. Adjust sweetness gradually. For a bubbly twist, add a splash of sparkling water before serving. Substitute almond milk for a lighter version but expect less creaminess.
